Daphne's Story
If you're interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application at https://www.sarahstreasuresrescue.net/application-to-adopt

- Approximately 8-12 month old Spayed female Mixed Breed approximately 35-45 pounds. Best guess on breed is a Shepherd / Boxer type. She is petite.
- She does great other dogs of all sizes. Loves to run & play but enjoys a good hangout buddy too!
- She’s been around and exposed to cats. She will bark at them to try and get them to run – if they run, she will chase. It’s a game. She will also walk by and ignore them at times.
- Friendly and wants to be friends! She can’t wait to meet people of all ages. She can be a little clumsy with younger children, but continued training continues to improve her manners.
- Kennel trained and house trained
Daphne arrived at the rescue saved from a trailer where she was abandoned. She was alone for a couple of weeks before she was discovered. She has slowly learned that she will not be left alone again, although, she will still bark in her kennel at times. Daphne is smart and wants to please. She is learning her basic obedience and leash manners. She is a medium-high energy gal and loves long walks and exploring the neighborhood trails.

Daphne has been vet checked, is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, spayed, and current on her flea/tick/heartworm/deworming preventatives. Daphne’s adoption donation fee is $300.00

We realize that people are looking for a predominant breed or breed mixture, but visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
