He needs clear boundaries and a knowledgeable adopter to continue his training, but he is a smart and gentle guy who has blossomed into a great dog while in care. <br/><br/> Likes: He enjoys playing fetch, playing tug of war, puzzle toys, and running at the dog park. He loves to chew, but finding him a chew toy he can't destroy has been a challenge. He likes car rides too, mostly because they usually mean he gets to go to the dog park!<br/><br/> Dislikes: Although Dante wants to be with his people at all times, he isn't much of a cuddler. He does not like being left alone and is safest in a solid crate. He can be a bit vocal when you first leave, but does settle down.<br/><br/> Ideal Home: Dante's ideal family is active and committed to continued training and enrichment. They should not have small children as he's not super comfortable around them. Like most Dobermans, Dante needs regular exercise and mental stimulation or he may find other ways to entertain himself. He would love a home interested in doing fun things like agility.<br/><br/>‍‍‍ Family: Dante would do best with another dog in the home, preferably a female of similar size. He has previously lived with cats and has been fine around small dogs he has met as well.<br/><br/> Health: No known issues.<br/><br/> Adoption Fee: $500<br/><br/>Dante has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
