Danny Go! - ECAS's Story

Why Worry When You Can Be Happy (With Me)!

You've heard that Pharrell Williams song, "Happy"? Well, that's pretty much me in a nutshell!

Hello! I'm Danny Go!, a playful, active, outgoing, cheerful, and confident American Pit Bull Terrier mix puppy. I'm about 11 months old and 50 lbs. of unadulterated silliness!

The first thing you'll notice when we meet is how ridiculously cute I am! This soft tan coat, these floppy bunny ears, these big, beautiful eyes! But hold up-before you get a chance to admire yours truly, I'll likely be bunny-hopping across the yard, making a beeline for my one true love: TOYS! So, the first things you'll actually see are my wiggly butt and wildly happy tail wags.

When I'm out in the yard-my absolute favorite place to be-I turn into a free-wheeling, fun-loving, comical character! And my mostest favorite thing to do is to PLAY! Toss me a squeaky toy or a ball and just watch me go, go, GO!

My volunteer pals say I can entertain myself for ages-and that watching me bounce around, roll over and perform the cutest zoomies, all while still holding the toy in my mouth, makes them LOL at my puppy shenanigans!

I love giving and getting affection from the volunteer friends I know and have bonded with. But hey, I'm still a puppy-so if I have to choose between cuddles and PLAYTIME...well, that squeaky toy isn't going to chase itself!

I enjoy running the fence with friendly doggos in the neighboring yards! In fact, word around the shelter is that I might do well in a home with another active, playful doggo who can match my energy and help show me the ropes of living with a family. If you have a doggo, please bring them along for an on-leash, supervised meet-and-greet to see how we get along.

I'm a smart cookie too! I know how to "Sit," and I'm learning to go "Down". I'm also practicing waiting patiently for my treats instead of jumping up to grab them. I'm still working on my leash manners and may pull when I get excited-there's just SO much to sniff and see! And then there's this, er...whole potty-training thingy. Growing up in the shelter, I didn't really have the chance to learn some of the basics other pups were taught at home. If you can be patient and consistent, and guide me through it all, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

Well...I may have grown up in the shelter, but I'd sure love to grow old with you! If you're looking for a cute, playful, active, and wonderfully goofy doggo to love, live, and be happy with, I'm him! I'm already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and SO ready to get this wiggly butt home-with a toy in my mouth, of course!

## See video of Danny Go! at the end of the photo gallery! ##
TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/

Danny Go! is young, active, and ready to share adventures with a fun new family! He is not technically a puppy anymore, but is in his teenager years, and will thrive in a home that will provide daily exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He was brought to our shelter on 6/28/26 after being found in Dublin.

His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable).

Danny Go!'s Shelter ID# is 90257. He is an approximately 10-month-old, tan and white, American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He currently weighs around 50 lbs. He is already neutered and vaccinated and will be microchipped before going to his new home. Danny Go! is located in kennel B-2.

** Age shown is an estimate only **

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.
