Meet Danny Boy
Another Tijuana dog headed north to Meade Canine via the wonderful Shorty Rossi of Shorty’s Rescue. If you haven’t heard, Shorty’s the guy who saves, rehabs and most importantly sterilizes a whole lot of Bully dogs. And like all of us works hard. Chiquita’s Friends, under the direction of Geraldine Gilliland, is now saving lives full time in Mexico and Danny Boy got lucky enough to fall under the wings of Geraldine and made his way north.
Danny Boy was taken off the streets of Mexico during the heavy rains. When he got to Meade, he acted like he’d lived here his entire life! Mexican dogs tend to be very chill! And appreciative. Danny Boy settles in quickly and is one confident little guy who will assume seniority with a pack in a nanosecond. He is a bit grumpy with dogs and is not shy about letting them know so being an only dog would work for Danny. He is a fun looking dog and at 20 pounds a great size. He is definitely an indoor dog because his time outside is not nearly as much as his time inside on doggie beds and fancy cushions. His street days are over! He is not old but not young and for a MX dog he is pushing old since most do not live terribly long on the streets. He would be great fun to do a DNA test on. Most unusual fur.
