I can be quite nervous and unsettled in new situations, so I’ll need plenty of time to get used to you and feel comfortable in my new home.<br/><br/>I need a home that will take the time to get me to trust myself as well as other humans again. I need to have desensitizing training as well as positive training methods as I am reactive because of fear.<br/><br/>I would do okay in a home with a more confident dog that can show me the ropes, I would also need a home with a fence as I am fearful and would try to escape new situations, sorry..<br/><br/>I’ve been through a lot, and I have some issues, but if you give me the right chance, I promise I’m a sweetheart at heart. It took me months to stop barking at my current human before I felt safe enough to let them walk into my kennel without being scared. That moment was one of the greatest of their lives!<br/><br/>I love food, but I’m very picky about it. When I get a treat I like, I’ll run it over to my bed to enjoy it. I once tried whipped cream like I was tasting fine wine!<br/><br/>If you’re patient and willing to give me the time I need, I know I can become a loving and loyal companion. I am very fearful of everything and a house in the country is a must for me to flourish<br/><br/>With hope and heart,<br/>Dan<br/>---------------------------<br/>Bonjour, future famille !<br/><br/>Je suis un chien très timide, réservé et nerveux. Il me faut beaucoup de temps pour m'ouvrir à une personne. Je n'aime pas les nouvelles personnes ni les nouvelles situations, donc j'aurai besoin de beaucoup de temps pour m'habituer à quelqu'un et me sentir à l'aise dans ma nouvelle maison.<br/><br/>J'ai besoin d'un foyer qui me donnera le temps de me faire à nouveau confiance en moi-même et en les autres humains. J'ai besoin d'un entraînement désensibilisant ainsi que de méthodes d'entraînement positives car je suis réactif à cause de la peur.<br/><br/>Je me débrouillerait bien dans une maison avec un chien plus confiant qui peut me montrer les ficelles du métier, j'aurait également besoin d'une maison avec une clôture car j'ai peur et j'essaierait d'échapper à de nouvelles situations, désolé..<br/><br/>J'ai beaucoup vécu et j'ai quelques problèmes, mais si on me donne la bonne chance, je suis un véritable amour. J'ai aboyé pendant des mois avant d'accepter quelqu'un et de le laisser entrer dans mon enclos sans avoir peur (c'était probablement un des plus grands moments de ma vie !). <br/><br/>J'adore la nourriture mais je suis super difficile avec elle, haha. Si je reçois quelque chose que j'aime (comme des friandises), je le prends immédiatement et le cours dans mon lit pour le manger. Une fois, on m'a donné de la crème chantilly et j'ai goûté comme si je dégustais du vin.<br/><br/>Si tu es patient et prêt à me donner le temps dont j’ai besoin, je sais que je peux devenir un compagnon aimant et fidèle. Je suis très craintif de tout, et une maison à la campagne est indispensable pour que je m’épanouisse.<br/><br/>Avec espoir et amour,<br/>Dan
