Dalton's Story
Introducing "Dalton", one very handsome and gentle giant with gorgeous amber eyes. While he's calm and well behaved around other dogs and loves attention from people, he makes it abundantly clear that he prefers not to be confined to a cage. He is house trained and has good manners inside the house other than the occasional taking of socks left on the floor to his bed. He does not chew things up but just takes them to his bed. We're not sure if he's had experience guarding livestock, he does get along well with other dogs and cats. He does like to spend some time outside when the weather is cool but prefers being inside with cool ac when it is hot outside. As you can see from his photos, his natural coat is long and luxurious, but he needed to be groomed and so was shaved early for warmer weather.

Like all our rescue dogs, Dalton is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is only $125.00 which includes a LIFETIME microchip registration with HomeAgain. If you'd love to claim this very special canine for your own, please GO TO WWW.SPCAOFMC.COM and click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application (no cost or obligation). Thanks for thinking rescue!
