She is potty trained, crate trained, and rides beautifully in the car, making her an easy addition to just about any home!<br/><br/>She is incredibly docile and submissive with people and has no issues being handled — you can touch her ears, tail, and paws without a fuss. Dally truly adores people of all ages and is especially fond of kids! That said, she can get a little excited and does jump when greeting, so she would do best with children who are sturdy enough to handle her enthusiasm. She may also occasionally have a submissive tinkle when meeting new people or dogs, especially when she’s feeling extra excited or unsure, but this is something that typically improves with confidence and time!<br/><br/>Dally loves having a yard where she can run and play, especially if she has other dogs to romp around with. She does great with dogs ranging from 25 to 110 pounds and enjoys their company. However, she does have some resource guarding tendencies with other dogs around food, toys, and water. Because of this, she will need an adopter who is willing to set clear boundaries and confidently correct unwanted behavior. The good news is that Dally listens very well and responds quickly to direction — with consistent leadership, her issues remain minimal and manageable!<br/><br/>She can occasionally be a little mischievous and may pick up a shoe or a leash to chew on, so having plenty of appropriate toys available will help keep her happily entertained and set up for success!<br/><br/>Dally is also a very polite house guest — not an escape artist, generally quiet indoors, and takes treats gently. You might hear her chime in with some barking if she spots something exciting out the window or hears other dogs, but otherwise she’s a calm presence in the home!<br/><br/>Above all, Dally is incredibly affectionate and thrives on love and attention.
