Dale's Story

Meet Dale!

Dale is a 5-year-old Shi-Poo boy who is just the cutest little friend you could ask for. At only 12 lbs, he’s the perfect pint-sized companion with the sweetest, gentlest personality. Dale loves everyone he meets and has been friendly with children, dogs, and cats too!

This adorable little guy just arrived in his foster home and is already showing off his good manners - he appears to be housebroken and crate trained. Dale was originally found as a stray in Chicago, and honestly, we can’t understand how no one came looking for this sweet boy.

Dale’s favorite place seems to be right near his people. He loves being close, whether he’s following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch, or happily warming your lap. His calm, loving nature makes him an easy little companion to fall for. He also surprised us with a game of fetch! This little man likes to play ball.

If you’ve been looking for a sweet, friendly best friend who gets along with everyone, Dale might just be your guy.

The first step in meeting our adoptable animals is the breed/species-specific application at www.ILDobeRescue.com. We do a vet check, landlord/association verification, and home visit to ensure a permanent placement for our wonderful animals. Thank you for considering rescue! The first step in meeting our adoptable animals is the specific application at www.ILDobeRescue.com for a Doberman, Plus dog (non-Dobe), or cat.
