DESCRIPTION: Dakota is back! We have learned a little more about him during his absence. He let us know that even though he gets along with other dogs his size, he prefers to be the only dog living in the household. He loves attention. He definitely needs a secure, fenced-in back yard so he can do zoomies and explore his world. He has an abundance of energy and gets very excited at mealtime. His foster mom got him a special dish so he won’t eat too fast.
Dakota is housebroken once he knows your schedule. And his crate and bed are his safe places. He will sleep in the crate at night. He loves to play and is good with children and other dogs around his size. He also loves his toys. He is used to being dressed with doggie clothes for warmth and holidays.
Dakota will curl up in your lap every time you sit down. He is looking for a home whose people will be around a lot so he doesn’t have to be crated for long periods of time. He tolerates walking on a leash for short periods, but when he’s done, he’s done! He’d rather be carried! As sweet as he is, he could use a little obedience training to help hone his social skills.
He comes with a crate, dishes, storages for food, water bottle, bed, toys, and several outfits.
