Dakota Alaskan Malamute Mix Elyria, OH

It's Dakota, the living teddy bear! He is a six-year-old Malamute that was born to be with people. Dakota isn't a dog you'd describe as "aloof." He loves to be with you and get cuddles. (Dakota is extra fluffy, so a brushing session is a great way to bond too!) Despite his fluff, Dakota only weighs 51lbs. He's manageable on the leash, though he does want to explore and follow his nose on walks. Dakota DOES NOT like to share his space with other dogs, so he's hoping to be spoiled as an only pet. He keeps a clean kennel overnight and is very tolerant. Dakota also sits for treats and probably would like to learn other tricks as well. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, heartworm tested, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
