Daisy Mae - in foster!'s Story

A note from Daisy Mae's foster family...

"Daisy Mae is doing amazing in her foster home with elementary age kids and loves everyone she meets!

Daisy knows 'sit' very well and is working on 'lay', 'stay', and 'let's go'. She is very food motivated but does not bother human food on tables and counters. Daisy Mae is perfectly potty trained and has had zero accidents in our home in over two months. She does not dig or jump fences, and rarely jumps on people.

She loves to lick, lay on, and get belly rubs from everyone! Her loose leash walking has improved a ton and she's a pleasure to walk in calm locations. She is still working on reactivity when she sees other dogs, especially large ones. Daisy seems to prefer smaller dog friends and is now living with foster brother Austin (about 20 lbs) also from High Country Humane.

She's happy to lay around the house most of the day, enjoys a sturdy chew toy, and is working on learning fetch. Give her a chance and she'll melt your heart!"

Contact her foster family at (734) 678-9765 to learn more or set up a meet and greet.
