Daisy Duke's Story
Daisy Duke is a one-of-a-kind mixed breed with the personality to match her impressive DNA results. At 1 year old and 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventure and cuddles alike. Daisy is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves attention and if she could spend the whole day snuggled up next to her people after a big adventure, she would.

With breeds like Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, Hound, and Catahoula in her mix, it’s no surprise that Daisy is a very high-energy girl who thrives with activity and engagement. She loves hikes, long walks, runs, and playtime. She has done wonderfully with two large dogs in foster care and would likely love a playful canine companion.

Daisy is also smart and eager to learn, especially when treats are involved. She walks well on leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and has adjusted well in her foster home. She will do best in an active home that’s ready for a highly energetic, highly affectionate, and deeply lovable pup who wants to be included in all of life’s adventures.

Daisy Duke is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Daisy Duke is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).

For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.

Thank you for choosing adoption!
