Daisy's Story
Meet Daisy!Daisy is the kind of dog who will steal your heart in a matter of minutes. This adorable 1-year-old Poodle mix may be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give her a moment and she'll be curled up in your lap, asking for belly rubs and soaking up every ounce of affection you have to offer.

After surviving a dog attack before arriving at ECPR, Daisy is learning that the world can be a safe place again. Despite her past, she remains incredibly loving, gentle, and eager to connect with people. Her favorite place in the world is wherever her person happens to be.

Daisy is a cuddle bug through and through. She loves laps, snuggles, scratches, and being held close. Once she trusts you, she becomes your little shadow, happiest when she's curled up beside you or tucked safely in your arms. While she enjoys a good game of fetch and will happily chase a toy, Daisy's true passion is affection. She'll often pause mid-play session to come back for pets before heading off for another toss of the ball. It's the perfect balance of playful and cuddly.

Because of her history, Daisy can feel overwhelmed around other dogs. She may be able to live with a calm, respectful canine companion, but she would thrive in a quiet home where she can decompress and build confidence at her own pace.

Daisy would do best with adopters who enjoy a slower-paced lifestyle and can provide plenty of companionship. She can become anxious when left alone and finds comfort in being close to the people she trusts.

As a Poodle mix, Daisy will require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and mat-free, along with routine bathing and nail trims. She also has a mild knee condition that is currently causing no issues but should be monitored as she ages.

Daisy's ideal home is one filled with soft blankets, cozy laps, gentle routines, and people who understand that sometimes the bravest dogs are the ones who simply need to feel safe. In return, she'll offer endless cuddles, unwavering devotion, and enough love to fill every corner of your home.

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, Daisy may be your perfect match.

Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
