Time is running out, and we must find a foster or adopter by December 28, 2025 to save her life and keep her with her bonded companion, Layla, a 2-year old Great Dane. <br/><br/>Daisy is a 2-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who is very smart, eager for training, loves people, and is both leash-trained and house-trained. She is active, affectionate, and thrives when she’s with her person — and with Layla.<br/><br/>Daisy and Layla must be placed together, ideally with a dog-friendly, secure yard. Our Process Includes: A completed adoption application A phone interview to discuss lifestyle, expectations, and compatibility A home check (virtual or in-person) to ensure a safe and secure environment We also offer a "Foster with Intent to Adopt" option for those who would like to ensure a perfect fit before finalizing their adoption. This gives both the dog and the family time to adjust and bond in a supported way. Our Promise: If for any reason an adopter can no longer care for their dog—whether it’s months or years later—we require that the dog be returned to Soulshine. No judgment, no questions asked. Our commitment to every dog we rescue is lifelong, and we will always welcome them back when needed.
