Meet Daisy — Looking for Her Forever Home! <br/><br/>Daisy is a sweet, loving 5-year-old Beaglier (Beagle/Cavalier Spaniel mix) who is looking for a new family and a home where she can receive the companionship she truly needs.<br/><br/>Daisy has been part of her family since she was just 8 weeks old. She grew up in a loving home where someone was almost always around, and during COVID, she especially enjoyed having the children home with her throughout the day. As her family’s circumstances and daily schedule have changed, Daisy has found it increasingly difficult to be left alone for extended periods. For this reason, Daisy would do best in a home with a family with a flexible schedule and where she can enjoy plenty of companionship and interaction. <br/><br/>Daisy does well with children, but respectful interactions are important. Daisy can become nervous if she feels smothered or squeezed and may growl when uncomfortable. She is also crate trained and enjoys having her crate available as a safe and comfortable retreat. And she is an excellent traveler and absolutely loves going for rides!<br/><br/>Daisy has spent her entire life as a beloved family member and finding her the right home is incredibly important. Daisy would be especially well suited to an individual or couple who is home most of the day — such as a retiree, someone who works from home, or a family with a flexible schedule. She needs a patient and understanding home that can provide consistency, companionship, and a safe environment where she can feel secure.
