Daisy's Story

Hey Friends, my name is Daisy. Sometimes the shelter team calls me Daisy Duke, or Lazy Daisy when I'm snuggling up with them.

A little about me, I was in a home for the last 7 years of my life, ever since I was a little pup. I was so loved in that home, and treated like a complete princess. Recently my life took a drastic turn and I found myself here at the shelter. One of my humans was diagnosed with an awful medical condition, leaving her no choice but to surrender me to the shelter. She promised me that the shelter team would find me another wonderful home with wonderful people that will treat me like a princess again.

I am 7 years old; I am a large mixed breed girl. The shelter was told that I'm mixed with a border collie & mastiff, but they haven't done a DNA test to confirm that. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on my heartworm testing. I'm fully potty trained, I'm good with other dogs that are submissive, and I don't seem to mind cats.

I am a little shy at first, however once I open up, I am yours forever. I turn into a giant snuggle bug, and I love to give kisses.

If you'd like to meet me, please stop by the shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm. If you have questions, reach out to my friends at AVASCares2@gmail.com or by phone at 989-348-4117. Hope to see you soon!
