She has such a big personality packed into her little body! <br/><br/>Daisy came to Beagles and Bentleys from Louisiana after she and her littermates were surrendered with their mom to a kill shelter. A local group took them in and B&B was able to commit to eventually taking them when they were old enough. Mama will be coming to B&B after she is treated for a few medical issues back in Louisiana.<br/><br/>This little girl is full of puppy energy and ready to explore absolutely everything. If there's a new sight, smell, or toy Daisy is the first one there to investigate. Curious is definitely one of her superpowers! Don't let that adventurous spirit fool you- when playtime is over, she's more than happy to soak up all the love and cuddles you can give. <br/><br/>One thing for sure... Daisy is already showing off those classic heeler instincts. She loves to keep an eye on everything and everyone, making sure her little "herd" stays together. It's both adorable and hilarious to watch! <br/><br/>She's smart, confident, affectionate, and ready to find a family that will help her channel all that puppy enthusiasm into adventures, training, and a lifetime of love. We can't wait to watch Daisy grow, but we are hoping it won't be too long before her forever family finds her! She does well with cats, kids, and dogs! She is also working on her potty/crate training and doing well! Could Daisy be the missing piece of your family?<br/><br/>She is being fostered in Prince George, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. <br/><br/>We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Daisy, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.<br/><br/>Spay/Neuter Disclosure:<br/>Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
