Daisy's Story

Don't let the name "Daisy" fool you. This short, stout little 35 pound bulldog is quite the force of nature. She had formerly been used as a breeder dog until recently taken into rescue. Fortunately her former life has not left her with much baggage. She is one of the most self-assured dogs her foster mom has ever seen and she fears nothing. She is happy to get in the car and go for a ride, walk around and meet new people, is great at the vet and will certainly roll up on another dog like she is 10 foot tall and bullet proof. She is definitely more fond of male dogs than females and we are hoping that changes a bit when she completed her spay. She doesn't hurt female dogs by any means but she is a bully in the true sense of the word. She can be contained by a 24 inch gate as she is a low rider but will bark a bit when kenneled or placed in a room behind a gate as she really does want to be with her people all of the time. She loves living in doors and thinks this companion pet thing is a really great gig. She will be receiving a dental at the time she completes her spay and other than dirty choppers she is a healthy active girl. If you ae interested in giving this little dynamo a forever home, please email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application. She is eligible for our Paws for Seniors program.
