Meet DAISY
***NEEDS FOSTER ASAP***
Currently in Jerome boarding kennels
Meet timid, sweet, young DAISY could be a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Kelpie, Labrador. Her owners gave up on her, but FFAR thought that she deserved a second chance at furever.
DAISY came into rescue with 10 8-week-old puppies who were transferred to another rescue. She is a little frightened in her new surroundings without her puppies. She wants to be comforted, but with her past neglect, she doesn't really no who to trust.
The barking dogs and all the commotion seem to make DAISY nervous, so we are looking for at least a foster home for her.
New volunteers need to go slow to allow DAISY time to trust. With trust in her handler, she walks well on leash. If she gets scared or nervous, DAISY will just lay down. She does allow you to pick her up.
DAISY seems to love car rides. She was the most relaxed during the drive, watching everything go by out the window.
