Daisy #69's Story
Daisy #69 is a 9-year-old female Golden Retriever who currently weighs 104 pounds—yes, you read that right. This sweet girl found herself caught up in the middle of a divorce, where despite both parties expressing they wanted her, she was unfortunately neglected in the ways that mattered most. Daisy received little to no exercise and was overfed to the point of becoming significantly overweight. When Daisy came into our care—alongside a 4-year-old Golden named Finley #5—neither dog had received even basic veterinary care, including vaccinations. Despite everything she’s been through, Daisy remains incredibly gentle, loving, sweet and eager to please.

Daisy deserves so much better, and now she finally has the chance at the life she’s always needed. She is looking for a committed home that will help her safely lose weight, provide regular exercise, and most importantly, shower her with the love and care she’s been missing. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly deserving girl and give her the happy, healthy golden years she deserves, Daisy is waiting for you.

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Daisy #69 please email Ann
Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Daisy #69 is being fostered in Connecticut.

🐾 HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt).
