Daisy's Story
Meet Daisy

At just 71⁄2 pounds, Daisy may be tiny, but she has enough love packed into her little body to last a lifetime.

Daisy is approximately 2 years old and we believe she is a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She was found abandoned alongside her brothers and several other dogs near a dumpster at a local lake dam in Louisiana. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and now this precious girl is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves.

Daisy is up-to-date on vaccines and preventions and is scheduled to be spayed on June 29. She is clean in her crate. She really does not like her leash yet as it's all new to her, but she will learn to love the leash with consistency. She would rather be carried around like a princess.

Like many small dogs who haven't always had the easiest start in life, Daisy can be a little shy when faced with new people, places, and situations. She may tremble at first, but don't let that fool you—she isn't aggressive or mean in any way. She's simply a sensitive little soul who needs a moment to realize she's safe. Once she trusts you, her true personality shines through.

And what a personality it is!

Daisy adores being held, carried around, snuggled in your lap, and treated like the princess she knows she is. She forms strong bonds with her people and wants nothing more than to be your constant companion. If you're looking for a little shadow to follow you from room to room, keep you company on the couch, and remind you every day how loved you are, Daisy is your girl.

Because she is such a delicate and sensitive little dog, Daisy would thrive in a calm, loving home where her boundaries are respected and she can build confidence at her own pace. A quieter household, retired couple, or family with older, respectful children would be ideal. She isn't difficult—she simply blossoms best in an environment where she feels secure and understood.

Give Daisy a little patience, a warm lap, and lots of love, and she'll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and devotion.

Tiny in size. Huge in heart.
