Daisy's Story

Hi, my name is Daisy, and I am a 3 year old Rotti/Shepherd mix (DNA test results are not in). I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. I am really good with kids, other dogs, and people in general. I love to play and really need it to get the extra weight off. I am on a diet to lose some pounds to make sure I stay fit and healthy.

Originally I was dumped down a road close to the Paris Landing Bridge in Stewart County, TN. I spent some time in foster care with this organization before I was adopted at a PetSmart event and given a home. I have since returned to this organization. My adopted family is having more children, and thinks that taking care of me would take too much time. I also have separation anxiety, that is easily controlled by me being in a crate while you are out of the house. My previous adopted family did not want to take the time to crate me, therefore they have given back to this organization. I fully admit that if I am not crated when you leave or at night when we sleep, my fears get the best of me and I chew things up. I was crate trained prior to adoption, and I am being crated now that I am back in foster care. I do wonderful in the crate. My foster parents are singing my praises since coming to their home. They say I am a sweet, loving girl and don't know why someone won't take the time with me. I am good around children and other dogs. I love anything and everyone. I especially love trampolines. I will need some help with a structured diet so I can get these much needed pounds off. Won't you take a chance, and love me.
