DAISEY IS BEING FOSTERED IN TEXAS. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED NATIONWIDE. <br/>Meet Daisey with an “e” in her name for no apparent reason! A one year old, female, spayed English Shepherd who loves to cuddle. With excellent recall and good manners (looks to the owner for direction) this pup is ready for someone to make her a permanent member of the family. <br/>Daisey weighs about 35 lbs and has a beautiful tri-color, short coat that has the classic English Shepherd “teflon” quality. She has a moderate energy level (can chill most of the day) but loves a good game of fetch in the backyard. Currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs (aussies, border collies and another English Shepherd) where she gets along with all her canine friends. Untested on kids and/or cats - it would probably depend on the kid and/or the cat.<br/>Her foster mom says Daisey has blossomed into a sweet and confident pup. When she first arrived in foster care, Daisey was unsure of the crate and was slow to warm with her new person. Now, two months later, Daisy is glued to her foster mom and has no problem being in a crate when her foster leaves the house. Daisey is a good car traveler.<br/>The ideal home for Daisey is with people who are willing to be loving and patient to develop a trusting relationship she needs to thrive. Daisey is food motivated and eager to please with the “off switch” we love to see in this breed. Daisey was herd tested and showed no interest in chasing down any of the farm animals. Daisey’s first and only owner told us that she chased and killed chickens, which is why they could not keep her. However, our foster has not seen that prey drive in Daisey.<br/>Daisey deserves someone who is willing to shower her with love. She is a sweet dog that needs a chance to bond with her forever family.
