She arrived at the shelter as a stray, and the uncertainty of her past has left her feeling especially fearful around men. Because of this, Daffodil will need a patient and understanding home that can give her the time, love, and consistency she needs to build trust and confidence.<br/><br/>This sweet girl is still learning the basics—especially leash walking, which is currently a work in progress. With positive reinforcement and guidance, she’ll get there in her own time. The good news? Daffodil does well with other dogs and may benefit from a canine companion who can help show her the ropes. Her feelings about cats are still unknown.<br/><br/>Weighing about 65 pounds, Daffodil is a big girl with an even bigger heart, just waiting for the right person or family to help her blossom.
