Dachshund: Wren's Story

*Update 6/8/26: Wren continues to get along with every dog and person she meets. She has picked up on the daily routine quickly. She responds to her name, "outside" and "treat" (she jumps as high as her little legs will go). She has a dog pillow that is her home spot and will walk into her kennel when ready to go to bed. We are working on hosue training, but is showing improvement. She can walk up and down stairs and is great with getting a bath and walking on a leash with a harness. She would do well with in a house with another dog and with people

Meet Wren! She is a super sweet adult female (vet estimates her to be 8-9 years old), dachshund that is looking for a family of her own.

She likes being around others, is friendly and wags her tail when excited! She likes to be pet, can easily be picked up as she is not scared of people. She likes a soft place to take a nap (her favorite place is a dog bed or a blanket). She is on the smaller side weighing 12 pounds.

She would do best in a calmer home and with a family that can give her a lot of love as she deserves it!

Foster home has 3 smaller dogs that she gets long great with.
