Curls's Story
We’re so happy to have our sweet girl Curls with us. After being returned to her owner from the shelter last year, she sadly found herself back there again within a year - this time in very rough shape. Once her painful mats were shaved away, she instantly felt like a brand-new little lady, and her true personality started to shine.
Curls gets along great with other dogs and is also fine with cats. She loves her toys, has a healthy appetite, and is house-trained (she even knows how to use training pads). She’s got just the right amount of sass, is incredibly affectionate, and a joy to be around.
She’s not a big fan of car rides, but that’s easily managed with medication. Curls also prefers to skip the harnesses and sweaters, but she more than makes up for it with all the love she gives. She’d do best in an adult home that understands she doesn’t like much handling around her head, likely from past experiences.
Curls is 10 years old, weighs about 8–10 pounds, and is ready to steal the heart of a very lucky family.
