Meet CUPCAKE!<br/><br/>***CUPCAKE IS BEING FOSTERED IN WASHINGTON, DC AND IS READY FOR MEET & GREETS!***<br/><br/>Cupcake is 8.4 lbs! She's a perfect size to fit in a bag and is very portable. We do not know her age but our best guess is 5-6 years old. Her paperwork states she is approximately 1 or 2 but we think she's a bit older. <br/><br/>Cupcake is such a sweet and gentle soul! <br/><br/>She is great with dogs and has been around dogs of varying sizes (from a chihuahua to a huge pit bull) and she's great with them all. Before she flew stateside, in her previous home, she was with 20 (yes, 20!) other small dogs and was great with them as well.<br/><br/>She has been great with every human she's met so far and while we have not had the opportunity to observe any interaction with young children, based on her sweet gentle demeanor we think she would be fine with them. She is never aggressive; on the contrary, she is gentle and reserved.<br/><br/>Cupcake can be shy at first as she's settling into her new surroundings but once she opens up, she will be your best friend and come up to you and paw at you to be picked up and for pets. She has a spunky little side as well which is playful and funny. She will play bow to engage and pitter patter around excitedly.<br/><br/>When resting, Cupcake can often be spotted sitting quietly on her little bed or towel observing the goings on. <br/><br/>Cupcake likes human affection and is so happy when people come home. She will greet you and run up to you with glee. She enjoys pets and scratches. <br/><br/>Food wise, she also loves to eat fresh chicken pieces; the foster prepares it for her and he will eat out of her hand! <br/><br/>She does not have any separation anxiety that we've seen and can be left alone without issue. She doesn't destroy anything or bark. When left alone in Puerto Rico, she was with other dogs, free roaming, and was fine. In DC, she is also fine being left alone for periods. Currently, the foster is taking her to her place of work because there is another dog there and she enjoys that!<br/><br/>She has not had much experience with dog toys yet so does not know what to do with them just yet but she is happy to do some zoomies around the house with her friends!<br/><br/>House training is GREAT! She does her business outside. The foster has wee wee pads down as back up and while she may go on those, it is clear her preference is going outside!<br/><br/>She is spayed, vaccinated, fecal negative, heartworm negative and is ready to find her forever home!<br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about her!
