Meet Cuba
Cuba came to us after her beloved owner unfortunately passed away. While here, she showed signs of being fearful especially of new environments, but she wanted to open up to us. To help her out, we sent her to foster. She has blossomed while in a home and is showing off her playful and energetic side. She gets along with her foster's (very tolerant) dog, but her favorite part is getting loved on by her human foster. She loves people and getting lots of pets, but is still cautious with new places and sometimes people. She doesn't quite realize how strong she is, so although she is smaller in stature be prepared for this stalky girl to smoosh you with cuddles. Because Cuba is young and has some fear-based behavior, she will need a home with some dog experience and the time and patience to work with Cuba further as she learns how to be a dog.
*Good with older kids-she has lots of energy!
*May do ok with other dogs, with proper introduction
*Ok with dog-savvy cats
