My previous human loved me so much-she even worked with a trainer to help us succeed-but as I grew into my full size, her health issues made it hard for her to handle my strength. She made the loving decision to find me a home that can give me the active, structured life I need to thrive.<br/>Here is a little bit about who I am and what I'm looking for in my next human companion:<br/>What Makes Me Great<br/>Deeply Social & Loving: I adore meeting new people and other dogs. I'm a total sweetheart who loves making new friends.<br/>Fully House-Trained & Crate-Trained: I haven't had an accident since I was a four-month-old pup! If I need to go outside, I'll politely let you know with a little whine or by standing at the door. I also appreciate my crate as a safe place to relax.<br/>High-Energy Adventurer: I love long hikes, heavy-duty tug toys, and having plenty of safe things to chew on.<br/>What I Need in My Humans<br/>Because I'm a big, strong guy working through some typical adolescent boundaries, I'm looking for a calm, confident, and experienced handler who understands strong, independent breeds.<br/>An Adult-Only Home: Because of my size and excitement levels, I'll do best in an environment without small children.<br/>Structure & Firm Leadership: Outside, I can sometimes test limits or get a bit pushy on the leash. Inside, I occasionally like to steal items and head under the table to see if I can keep them. I need a handler who will maintain consistent boundaries and guide me with confident management.<br/>A Calm Environment: Loud noises or barking neighborhood dogs can make me a bit nervous or reactive, but I redirect easily when my handler keeps things calm and controlled. Give me a crate or playpen where I can decompress, and I'm good to go!<br/>If you can give me clear direction, plenty of activity, and a safe space to grow, I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for.<br/>Tyson is an owner-to-owner transfer.
