Crystal's Story

Crystal was left in a mobile home park to fend for herself. Thankfully several caring people fed her but she didn’t have a place to call home. We were able to get her and her 8 puppies. The puppies have been adopted and now it is Crystal’s turn. She is in a foster home --- she stays in an outside kennel unless the weather is cold or rainy then she stays inside. She is a quiet girl… a lot of times you will just see her laying there looking around and observing everything. She didn’t know how to play at first but she has opened up and does the cutest little pawing motion with her front paws to let you know she is ready to play. She is a little reserved until she gets to know you but is always sweet. She does good on a leash. She plays great with big and little dogs. As you can see she looks to have been a momma several times – her stomach may be a little sagging but who cares when she is as gorgeous as she is. Her eyes are piercingly beautiful. She is a sweet, sweet girl and absolutely loves affection.

Finding Forever Dog and Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Interested adopters would first request a pre-adoption application that is sent to them via email or they can receive a physical copy from any volunteer. Once they are approved we set up a meet and great with the potential adopters, the dog/cat they are interested in and any other animal they already currently own. Once meet and great is complete (if it goes well), the potential adopters will foster to adopt for one week. Once the week is complete we will check in with them. If they decide they would like to keep the animal we complete the adoption by transferring vet records to their name and providing them with a medical copy. We do make sure to tell all potential adopters that make it to the foster to adopt scenario that if at any time they believe the animal is not a good fit for their family we will immediately come get the animal and place them back in their foster home.
