Hi, my name is Criss Cross! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Affectionate, patient, gentle giant, BIG cuddler, social butterfly, curious explorer, adventure buddy

-Can Live with Kids: Criss Cross has done very well with children of all ages in his foster home but due to his size kids 8+ who are familiar with large dogs are recommended, as CC is a very big boy!

-Can Live with Cats: No- Criss Cross has a very high prey drive and likes to chase all things that run. He needs a cat-free/small-animal free home!

-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, pending an initial intro here at the shelter and a prolonged intro process in the home. Would not do well with rude or rough/rowdy dogs - potential canine companions will need to be MELLOW, TOLERANT, and capable of peacefully coexisting.

-Can do Apartment Living: No, this large and in charge boy needs lots of space. He can be quite vocal when left alone and likely has some separation anxiety.

-Potty Trained: 100%!

-Bite History: No

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Depending on adopter experience, he may be required to sign up for one private lesson.

-Energy Level: Medium

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No

-Additional Information: Criss Cross is a gentle giant who's looking for his forever person! This big boy loves to snuggle and cuddle, and he's almost certainly a total bed hog (he particularly loves early bed times and sleeping in). He's a social butterfly and gets rather lonely when his people leave. He would really like a family who can be around home with him often or can take him with them on outings and adventures. Criss is definitely an active boy who likes his runs, walks, and playtime. He's a goofy dog who loves squeaky toys and lights up with big crossed eyes when he gets treats he REALLY likes. Criss Cross walks well on a leash the majority of the time, but is *very* strong and can pull pretty hard when he's interested in something. However, he's made consistent improvement on his leash skills in his foster home with positive reinforcement.
