Cowboy's Story

Cowboy is a big goof ball. He is super sweet and loves his human companionship. He is really good in public. Easy to take out as a dining partner. He loves walks and meeting people. He is a bit underexposed but tends to be friendly with other dogs, though can be a bit of a food control at feeding time when around other dogs. He is easy to handle but does need some training on etiquette not to jump on humans to greet them or to get attention. He is goofy and silly and will make you laugh. He really is not handling the absence of more human companionship so he is a dog we would really love to get into a Foster or Foster to Adopt home as soon as possible. He is ok in crate and may not be house trained though we feel if he had free access to go outside he would quickly become house trained. The communication factor is absent in his situation but should be easily developed with proper attention. If you are looking for a really cool lovebug that will make you laugh with his goofiness and want a dog that you can take places and not worry about his interactions with humans - this is your guy! He just needs some mild fine tuning and he will be awesome! He is very quiet so if you are in a situation that you need a dog that is not disruptive due to working at home, babies or neighbors this also is a plus in consideration of this dude! He is super easy and non reactive to handling such as bathing, cutting nails etc. He is jus a really good boy! Take him for a spin and see how he may fit in!

All adoptions are processed as Foster to Adopt to give time for Rescue to evaluate if applicant(s) and the rescue dog are appropriate matched after a period of time of acclimation has appropriately been applied or experienced before life commitments are made

TEXT FOR FASTER RESPONSE to inquiries:
323-558-8094
Email:paradeofpawsrescue@gmail.com
For more pictures and videos please follow us on IG: @paradeofpawsdogrescue
Ask us about our GREAT out of town adoption process!

Parade of Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
Parade of Paws Rescue works on a case by case scenario for adoptions. Flexibility is necessary for both the pet and human. Foster to adopt is offered and favored but not necessary if the adopters have a deep, instant connection and know that this is their new family member without a doubt in conjunction with proper prior experience of ownership. Here are the genral steps to fostering or adopting: 1) Phone converation to dicuss in detail the adopter and any prospetive dogs. 2) complete the application and return for review and approval 3) meet and greet 4) selection of prospetive dog 5) home safety check and education and/or indentification of any immediate training or focal areas to assist in ease of in home transition 6) foster to adopt/adoption agreement executed and adoption fee/donation fulfilled 7) foster to adopt trial to commence (or adoption) 8) review to conclude and determine if adoption option will be considered and/or concluded with final review of the acclimation of all involved Generally: Adoption fees generally range from $250 - $800 - which includes rabies vaccination (other vaccinations may also be included at Rescue discretion), microchip, spay/neuter, flea/tick prevention, collar and leash (harness may also be included at Rescue discretion). Additional perks: Ask about any specials that may be offered at time of application or adoption. Free boarding with Rescue may be available as an additional “thank you” for helping save a life. Please inquire if you have a short vacation planned.
