Courage

Our sweet Pup Courage was named after the brutal life he experienced and his determination to come through it. This beautiful young, little dog was lost in the streets in a crowded city & then was run over by a car & left to die in the street. Instead of somone trying to save him or help him another vehicle ran him over & kept going. <br/><br/>Finally animal control was called, picked him up and brought him to the shelter. He was scared, shut down and broken, but they could tell he desperately wanted to survive. Not only that but he was trying with all his might to show that he was gentle & sweet & just needed someone to give him a chance. <br/><br/>One of his legs needed to be amputated all the way up to the hip $ we rescued him and gave him the chance he deserved<br/><br/>As it turns out Courage is so grateful to to be alive, so happy to be loved, & holds no ill feelings towards anybody. He's an easy-going, joyful, loving pup. Once his surgery was healed he got up on three legs & joined his Foster siblings as if he was one of the gang. He's a wonderful playmate. With his canine. and feline siblings, & has become an agile little pup on 3 legs. Watching him galavant around the yard with his pals you'd never imagine what he's been through. <br/><br/>Courage also bonds easily with his humans & becomes very attached, affectionate & loyal. He will be a wonderful companion who will bring joy & love to his forever family.
