There are shelter intake photos.<br/>And then there’s Corn Cake’s, which apparently was taken for his upcoming spread in Blockheads Quarterly.<br/>This ridiculously handsome sonofagun came into DuPage County Animal Services as a stray and had the absolute AUDACITY to pose like somebody had just yelled, “Give me smoldering, but approachable.” 😂<br/>The head tilt.<br/>The eyes.<br/>The giant square noggin.<br/>Sir, this is animal control. Not your LinkedIn headshot.<br/>Sorry not sorry for us, one of our volunteers works at DuPage and saw him.<br/>Immediate love.<br/>Which quickly turned into the usual:<br/>“LOOK AT HIM! We need him.”<br/>Of course we do. Because apparently what we were missing in our lives was another enormous blockhead with excellent bone structure. 🙄😂<br/>We needed a foster. Chi-Town Pitties, Inc's Adoption Policy
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application (applicant must be at least 23 years of age). Once your application is received a volunteer will contact you to discuss your application. All references listed will be contacted, along with a call to your veterinarian to make sure your current/former pets are/were up to date on all vaccinations. We also complete a background check and home visit will be performed. Once all that is complete, and application is approved, we will arrange meet and greets with our adoptables that may be a good fit for your family and lifestyle. If a perfect match is found, an adoption contract will need to be signed, along with an adoption fee.
