Meet Princess Cora! If there was ever a sweet girl that deserved her happily ever after, we believe it’s Cora. You see, she and her only two surviving pups were surrendered to a shelter. She was emaciated, terrified, and shut down, which made her unadoptable to the public, and put her and her young nursing pups in the “red zone.” (Pic in photos). We couldn’t let that happen, and some of our amazing fosters stepped up and we went to work and pulled this little family. She just needed someone to believe in her, show her love, and let her know everything was going to be okay. She was malnourished, loaded with intestinal parasites, anemic, and heartworm positive. Once this amazing girl realized she was in a home and surrounded by love, she blossomed like the most beautiful flower you’ve ever seen! Today Cora is loving, playful (this girl loves her toys), house-trained, crate-trained, and flourishing like never before! She’s free from intestinal parasites, spayed, microchipped and started on her slow-kill treatment for heartworms, and doing fantastic! The only thing she’s missing now is her very own family and maybe canine siblings! She loves to frolic and play with her current ones!
