Copper Bluetick Coonhound Saint Marys, PA

Copper is a 4 year old, AKC registered Bluetick Coonhound. He was brought to the shelter after his owner no longer had the time to care for him. Copper is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Copper is your typical hound dog. He loves exploring the world around him and being outdoors. He would do best with an owner who shares his love of the outdoors and who lives an active lifestyle.

Along with getting along extremely well with people of all ages, Copper also enjoys the company of other dogs, but would prefer a home without any cats. We believe Copper is housetrained, and he knows his basic commands such as sit.

Copper does suffer from seizures every 4 to 6 months. He does not require medication due to their infrequency, but his adopters will need to be aware of them and track them as they happen.
