Meet Copper
Copper is one sweet boy. He had been roaming town as a stray for months. Once he arrived at the shelter, he had a pretty nasty laceration that required him to stay inside. During his healing time inside, Copper kept his crate very clean, not one accident. His wound required daily cleaning, which he let us handle him with no problems and also let us pick him up. Copper is 3 yrs old and such a well tempered dog. He can pull on his leash at times, as there’s so much to see and smell outside. Also, he doesn’t seem to pay much attention to the other dogs at the shelter. However, he does seems a little too interested in cats. So a home with no cats, would be best for Copper. Once this sweet boy settles in, he’s ready for affection. Please know the characteristics of a hound dog, if you are interested in him.
