COPPER's Story
Copper is the kind of dog that reminds you just how powerful patience, structure, and love can be. When he first arrived, he needed guidance and thanks to a lot of dedication from our team (and some very special help along the way), he’s grown into a dog we are incredibly proud of.

At his core, Copper is so sweet. He genuinely loves being around people and wants to be part of the action. Like a lot of young, enthusiastic dogs, he can get a little overexcited at times but with some simple redirection and continued consistency, he settles in beautifully. He’s already come such a long way and shows us every day just how eager he is to learn and connect.

Copper has had the opportunity to work with an amazing trainer, Eric Letendre, and we truly cannot thank him enough for helping Copper build the skills and confidence he needed to get to this point. Because of that foundation, Copper now knows sit, paw, down, and even roll over and he’s more than ready to keep learning with his future family.

One thing about Copper, he is a dog’s dog. He absolutely thrives around other dogs and would do best in a home with another active canine companion who’s ready to run, play, and help him continue to grow. Having a buddy brings out the very best in him.

Copper will need an experienced adult only home committed to continuing his training and providing the structure he’s used to. In return, you’ll get a loyal, fun, affectionate companion and a dog that your whole neighborhood will probably fall in love with (just like we all have).

We’ve put our hearts into Copper, and now he’s ready for someone to take that next step with him. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, potential, and a whole lot of love to give, Copper is waiting to meet you!

ADOPTION INFORMATION

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely.
