COOPER's Story

Hi! My name is Jake and I am available for adoption! I was surrendered by my previous owners because I like to talk alot. I am fully house trained and have pretty good leash manners. My new family should know that I am a true hound dog! I love, love, love the sound of my beautiful voice. I would do best in a home where my vocal nature is appreciated and neighbors won't mind hearing from me regularly. Baying (a loud, long, howling type bark typical for hounds) is something I've been doing my whole life and it is unlikely I will be able to stop this behavior completely. I may be able to be trained to bay and bark less, but I will always be a talkative boy. I have lived with other dogs my size and done well! I may like being part of a multi-dog household again. I am 83lbs and am considered a large breed dog. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032. Come and visit me today, I'd love to go home with you!
