Meet Cooper
Meet Cooper!
Cooper came to us after his owner informed us she needed help. She was homeless and was living in motels with her 2 dogs. We took in both dogs, and luckily we were able to reunite one of the dogs. Unfortunately, Cooper does need to find a new home.
Cooper we believe is a Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs about 70 lbs and is about 1 year old. Cooper did not have accidents inside the motel and would wait to go for walks. He was never properly trained growing up so we put him through board and train at the Houston Dog Ranch. He walks great on a leash and knows sit. He is very friendly with people and he loves affection. He would be a great cuddle buddy. He's fairly active but does adjust pretty well to his owner's lifestyle. He is crate trained and would need a meet and greet with another dog to see how they do together. He made a friend in a female Black Lab who is active and wanted to play. He has been introduced to a 12 year old kiddo and did well, but we have not seen him around cats.
Cooper is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
