Coogie's Story
Meet Coogie

Coogie is a 4-year-old, 70 lb Pittie mix whose life was almost cut short. Found as a stray, he ended up on the euthanasia list—and on his very last day, a kind Good Samaritan saved him.

He was also heartworm positive, but he’s since been treated and is now healthy, happy, and thriving. Today, Coogie just wants what he’s always deserved: love, safety, and his person.

He loves a big yard to run in, walks well on a leash, and is incredibly smart. He’s strong but responds well to guidance and thrives with structure. His favorite routine? Coming inside, going straight to his bed or crate, and sitting patiently for his treat.

Coogie would do best in a home where someone is around often (work-from-home or part-time). He’s dog-friendly with slow introductions and ready to keep learning with the right person.

After everything he’s been through… Coogie is ready to finally be someone’s dog.
