Meet Conway! A social and exuberant 11 month old Australian cattle dog/ Jack Russel terrier cross. Conway is an active young dog who will excel in an active home that is willing to teach him all of the fun things that being a house-dog has to offer. <br/><br/>He is a high energy dog with high food and toy drive who would likely excel in a sport home with an intermediate to advanced handler that is willing to help him work at his own pace while keeping things fun and engaging for him. <br/><br/>Conway currently lives with other dogs and cats in his foster home, and has proven to do very well with both. He would do best in a home with another active, or tolerant, dog friend and dog-savvy cats. <br/><br/>Conway has met children in his foster home and can be bouncy, but easily introduced on leash with positive reinforcement. He would likely do well in a home with children, although all interactions with children should be monitored to redirect any jumping behaviours. <br/><br/>Conway is kennel trained and currently stays in his kennel when unattended. He is always left with a high value activity such as a kong to reinforce positivity when alone, and it is recommended this is continued into his new home to help him settle in, as he can be anxious when left alone in a new space. Conway is house trained, but may have the occasional accident in a new environment.
