Comet (30 lbs)'s Story
Comet (30 lbs)

Jack Russell Terrier X Male
2 years years
Good with dogs and Older Kids. No cats.

Comet is an affectionate and energetic boy who absolutely adores people. He was rescued by PARS after being found abandoned in a landfill and spending three long months in a shelter. Comet is very loving - he thrives on pets, cuddles, hugs, and attention. Highly food-motivated (which makes training easier!), he already knows sit, wait, and paw. He is both crate trained and potty trained, and he shows no signs of aggression or resource guarding.

This lively little guy has lots of energy and approaches life as if everything is a game. He’s curious, playful, active, and still very puppy-like in his behaviour. . Durable “power chewer” toys would definitely be a great match for him!

Comet would do best with a confident and experienced owner who can provide structure, consistency, and continued training. He needs a good amount of daily activity, playtime, and exercise to thrive. While he is a small dog, a fenced yard is preferred to help him burn off energy safely. He does also like to take lots of naps! He loves to cuddle with his people, but will happily sleep in his crate or on his dog bed! Comet would be happiest as the only pet in the home, as he loves being the centre of attention and soaking up all the love for himself. Comet does love his foster doggy siblings. If he does go to a home with another dog, it must be a dog that is also high energy and happy to play with him!

ADOPTION FEE: $498

If you are interested in adoption, instead of emailing PARS, please download the Application form at:
www.peelanimalrescuesociety.com/adopt-a-dog
Fill the form and email to:
info@peelanimalrescuesociety.com
