Collin's Story

Meet Collin! Collin's mom Kate came to us on a Thursday and had her babies on Friday! Collin is one of 7 pups! As of right now he has a puppy personality. Eat, play, poop, and sleep! He will be ready for his new home (foster to adopt) soon. Please remember this is a puppy. Puppies chew stuff, get into trouble, poop and pee A LOT, and give great snuggles. This is a commitment. How foster to adopt works: You will fill out our foster form. We do a home check (via facetime). We provide all supplies you need (crate, food, pee pads,ect). You will be responsible for getting the pup to and from medical appointments. We can help if needed. Once we do the last vaccine/spay/neuter we will finalize the adoption. Puppies will have their vaccines at 6 weeks, 9 weeks, and 12 weeks. At 12 weeks we will set a vet appointment to have the pup altered and receive their rabies vaccination. Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
