<p>Meet Colette!</p><br/><br/><p>Colette is a beautiful Boxer mix who came to Summit's Sanctuary when she desperately needed someone to step in and save her. Colette was being housed at a shelter that was closing or significantly reducing operations. Sadly, because of the circumstances, she was facing euthanasia. We knew this sweet girl deserved a chance, so Summit's Sanctuary stepped in and rescued her.</p><br/><br/><p>And we are so glad we did!</p><br/><br/><p>Colette has proven to be an absolutely wonderful dog. She does great with other dogs and loves people of all ages, including children. She has a very laid-back, easygoing personality and is incredibly loving and affectionate. She also walks very well on a leash, making her a pleasure to handle. She enjoys attention and being around people without being overly demanding.</p><br/><br/><p>Other dogs: Great</p><br/><br/><p>Children: Great</p><br/><br/><p>People: Loves everyone</p><br/><br/><p>Cats: Unknown at this time</p><br/><br/><p>Leash: Walks very well</p><br/><br/><p>Personality: Laid-back, gentle, affectionate and loving</p><br/><br/><p> </p><br/><br/><p>Colette has already escaped one heartbreaking fate. Now we would love to see her get the opportunity to travel north, where she can have an even greater chance of finding the forever family she deserves. She is the kind of dog who should transition beautifully into a loving home. Colette isn't asking for much; just a family to love her and finally give her the happy ending she almost didn't get.
