My name is Cole - and I need someone to give me a forever home! I am a sweet, happy, energetic senior. I was with a great guy who adopted me 5 years ago from a shelter in upstate New York - life was sooo good but then my human got in a terrible accident and unfortunately can no longer take care or me. He was going to take me to that noisy shelter again until his Granddaughter with that cute little great Grand Daughter came to get me.
They brought me back to Long Island to stay on a house with horses and other dogs. Unfortunately, I am so used to be being the only child that I am not too good with those other dogs (truth be told those other dogs do not like me either). I do love the little human (she is always dropping yummy treats for me.) I do well on the leash - but get really excited when I see other dogs and people - so would love a fenced in yard to run to hang in! Let's see about giving this senior boy the best years of his life!!.
