A dedicated volunteer began feeding him, but every time she got close, Cohen would run away. Determined to help him, she set up a trap with some irresistible chicken, and within just a couple of hours, this little guy was finally safe.<br/><br/>At first, Cohen was frightened and uncertain, but it didn't take long for his true personality to shine through. Once he realized he was safe and loved, he absolutely blossomed into the happiest, silliest, most lovable puppy around!<br/><br/>Today, Cohen is a playful, energetic boy who loves to bounce, pounce, and zoom around with his doggy friends. He has never met a toy he didn't like and can often be found proudly carrying one around or inventing his own puppy games. If there's a fenced yard involved, even better! Cohen loves having room to run, play, and let his goofy personality shine.<br/><br/>One of Cohen's favorite things in the world is people. This affectionate little minion craves attention and isn't shy about asking for it! He'll happily jump up to say hello and make sure you're aware that he could use a few extra pets and cuddles. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
