Cody's Story
**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

Cody is a 4.5 month old, 45lb Great Pyrenees/hound mix puppy who is looking for his forever home! He is going to be a large breed dog so he is looking for a big fenced yard or plenty of land and someone willing to dedicate the time to training him. No small yards or apartments for this boy due to his size.

He is a playful, energetic puppy who loves playing with toys and running around outside. He gets along well with all the other dogs in his foster home and doesn't mind the cats either!

He rides well in the car and walks well on a leash. Foster mom took him out to a local coffee shop and he loved meeting all the people! 🥰

Cody slept through the night in his crate with no accidents and is working hard on potty training during the day.

If this big guy sounds like the perfect fit for your family, apply online today!

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
