Cody's Story

Handsome Cody, aka Blackie, will be four years young on December 26. He was born in 2022 and weighs approx. 64 pounds. Cody has one little white spot on his chest. Plus look at those white teeth!! Cody is black from his toes to nose to tip of tail. This friendly boy absolutely loves being around people. Cody's favorite hobby is tossing his fluffy furzball in the air. He also will enjoy going on walks. He has not been testing around small dogs or kitties yet. Cody will need a fenced yard! Please email us at: americanlurcherproject@gmail.com. Adoption Application Telephone interview Home Visit *Note - We do adopt dogs to qualified adopters in surrounding states, provided we have a volunteer who can do a home visit and transport can be arranged. Also, please note that the majority of our dogs require fenced in yards.
