Coconuts 14381's Story

We just know that you'll go absolutely nuts for our gal Coconuts! She may be the standard issue tan chihuahua, but she has a perfect blep that gives you just the hint of sass as she breezes her way through life. If you like beach days with a trayful of pina coladas, Coconuts can help you capture that summertime feeling - every day is a vacation when you get to spend it with this lovely lady! Coconuts is always barefoot so that she can feel the sand on her toe beans, and she encourages you to do the same as you leave your cares behind. It's not every dog that can give you the warm glow of the best summer's day, but that's just what is so special about Coconuts.

Here's some notes from her foster :

Coconuts may have been the one Stephen Stills had in mind when he wrote, "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." The only thing is, Coconuts loves EVERYONE!! She is a total people "person" and doesn't like to be left alone. While riding in my car, being in the front passenger seat is sometimes not close enough for her, and she tries to get into my lap.

Coconuts is also friendly with other dogs. At the park, she is my shadow. She can walk off leash in an unenclosed area, and I don't even worry for a moment about her wandering off. That's how close she sticks to me. Coconuts gets along great with my dogs and with the other dogs, big and small, at dog parks.

Coconuts is completely fine with my cats and even my rabbits. I have two disabled cats and one kitten. She is mostly indifferent to them. And unlike my other dogs, she doesn't care about stealing their food or licking their bowls.

Coconuts is pretty spry. She can go up and down stairs. She is very active at the dog park.

Coconuts is a very sweet and loving dog. Except for always wanting to be with her person, she has no vices. She's not at all aggressive, doesn't eat dirt or look for scraps, and sleeps great through the night. All in all, she's been pretty easy and a pleasure to foster.
